About Abortion Fund of Ohio
Abortion Fund of Ohio (formerly known as Women Have Options (WHO/O)) is Ohio’s statewide abortion fund. Founded in 1992, we believe that everyone should be able to make their own reproductive decisions—and we work to make that a reality in Ohio. We're a founding member of the National Network of Abortion Funds, which includes more than 100 abortion funds around the United States and overseas. We provide financial assistance and practical support (transportation, housing, and more) to help patients afford contraception, emergency contraception, and abortion services. In our 30 years of operation, Abortion Fund of Ohio has helped thousands pay for abortion care.
Support Abortion Access
The most effective way to support our work is by chipping in to cover the cost of care—or by fundraising! 100% of AFO'S grassroots funds go directly back to our communities.Current Availability of Abortion
Abortion is currently legal in Ohio up through 21 weeks and 6 days gestation. Gestation is determined from the first day of your last period. You can use Abortion Finder to both determine gestation and to find a nearby clinic that can help you at that gestation.
Note that Google and other search engines can be misleading & show organizations that do NOT provide abortions. That's why we recommend using either Abortion Finder or I Need An A for a verified list of clinics that can help at your stage of gestation. There are currently 9 abortion clinics open in Ohio, including 3 medication-only clinics and 6 surgical centers. You can also visit our Ohio clinics page for a full map & list.
