Join the Big Girl Burlesque and friends for STATEMENT. When you have a platform you have a responsibility. We at the BGB take this platform and our responsibility very seriously. Usually we throw a little message in with a whole lot of sexiness. This time sexy is taking a backseat to the Statements we need to make about the state of the world.
This show is also a FUNDRAISER for Abortion Fund of Ohio, with at least half of the door going to AFO. We will also have Voter Registration there so you can sign up to vote or update your information.

This show will be unlike any other we have presented. Performances will focus on everything from police violence and systemic racism in this country to the rights that are being stripped away from its citizens. It may be triggering to some and as such we will be offering specific warnings before each number so audience members can opt out of numbers that might be sensitive for them. But we want you to know from the outset that it will NOT be a traditional tease focused burlesque show. Our bodies are political and we will be using them to tell our stories. And given the state of the world those stories cover the whole range of "angry."
