UC Social Justice Colloquium: Reproductive Rights Post-Dobbs

Join AFO's Board President, Interim Executive Director, and an entire lineup of amazing guests on 10/28 to learn from experts about the legal, reproductive & community impacts of Dobbs and paths forward at Reproductive Rights Post-Dobbs! This event is hosted by the University of Cinicinatti's Colllege of Law, and will include a full day of panelists, discussions, and calls to action.

Interim Executive Director, Maggie Scotece, will speak on The Legal Field and the Dobbs Dilemma, a panel from 10:45 am to 12:15 pm. Maggie & fellow panelists will will provide an overview of where abortion and reproductive rights stand from the Dobbs decision to the present. This analysis of Dobbs decision, its legal impact on reproductive and abortion rights and access, and other implications to other rights based on privacy rights. Lastly, panelists will discuss what legal strategies can be used to re-affirm the right to abortion and reproductive care. 

Board President, Jordyn Close, will speak on A Path Forward and Calls to Action, a panel running 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Panelists will speak about ways we can move forward and take steps of action in this post-Dobbs world to reclaim and secure our rights to abortion, reproductive care, bodily autonomy, and so much more.
