AFO’s Fund-a-Thon
Ever feel like you have a closet full of clothes & nothing to wear? Come out & swap ‘em for something new-to-you. More than just sustainable swapping, the Clothing Swap supports Abortion Fund of Ohio’s annual Fund-a-Thon! Fund-a-Thon is a multi-month event featuring peer-to-peer fundraising, stigma-busting advocacy campaigns, sponsored partnerships, events! The proceeds raised during Fund-a-Thon­—including the Swap 4 Solidarity—will fill a vital health care gap by helping to pay for abortion services, contraception, emergency contraception, options counseling, doulas, transportation, and more.

About the swap
For entry to the Swap, you can donate clothes (info below) or chip in $15 for an entry ticket (online or at-the-door) in exchange for a bag to fill to the brim. Ready to swap-til-you drop? You can purchase additional bags for $10 each. During the swap, dressing rooms & Woodward’s bar (21+) will be up & running! AFO will have free Emergency contraception, resource materials, & special prizes available to win via raffle. An arm’s length of raffle tickets will be available for $15. The raffle drawing starts at 5:00 pm!

Clothing Donations
If you donate at least 10 items, you’ll receive free entry + the equivalent number of bags you brought to fill up! Bring us your gently, barely or never used wardrobe items! Donated items should be clean and in good condition, without holes, rips, or stains. Fun & bizarre pieces are encouraged! You may bring adult clothing, shoes, accessories (purses, scarves, etc.) Feel free to bring any feminist swag or Ohio-specific pieces. Please, no children’s clothing. If you have any long items, like dresses & coats, please bring them on hangers.

Childcare
Parents—you deserve to swap too, so we’re offering childcare this year! Please let us know how many little ones you're bringing by emailing [email protected] with the subject line: Swap Childcare. We’ll send a confirmation along with important details for the event!
